Here's some cards I've made throughout April and May.


Cricut: Tinkerbell

For my friend Jeannine. We always have fun spotting owl and mushroom items because a while ago we noticed that what was once old is now new. We then joked how funny it would be if the 1970's owl and mushroom made a comeback and sure enough, they have!


Card made for the 6th grader movie basket they put together for a silent auction.

Cricut: Tinkerbell

These two cards went to Leslie and Bonnie. They are both fond of fairies. I also wanted to play with the Tinkerbell Cricut cartridge I bought. I love the silhouettes.

Annabelle's class basket for the silent auction was beach themed so I made a set for that as well.

Easter Cards 2009

I decided to try my hand at using vintage images for my Easter cards this year. I got them from Vintage Holiday Crafts and there were many to choose from.


My mom still has some authentic vintage Easter cards which was one of the reasons I was inspired to go this route this year. I just love how innocent they all look.

Cricut: Accent Essentials

I was so thrilled that the spring scrapbook retreat at the Palouse Divide Lodge happened again. It never comes soon enough. I had a wonderful time despite having killer back problems and a humongous canker sore that prevented me from frequenting the snack table. I was able to whip out close to 100 pages even with my taking naps and going to bed at 11 every night. I worked on our Sister's Weekend Album, our 2008 Christmas pictures, cards and letters, the JJDP Dance album and our own personal dance album. I had a blast at our table with Jeannine, Carolyn, Heather and Charity and the rest of the ladies at the retreat.

I just took pictures of my favorite pages. I did a ton with the basic strip of paper down the side which enabled me to complete so many.


Cricut: George, Street Sign & Graphically Speaking

Our retreat leader and CM consultant, Debbie Kuntz, does an amazing job putting these retreats together. I'll have to bring my camera this fall to take photos of the little treats she puts on our beds and the goodies we get after each meal when we come back to our tables. She also draws for prizes regularily and I always come home with a boatload of swag. The paper on the above page is from Debbie and it fit perfectly with my little ballerinas. Debbie also has tons of papers for sale from a lot of different companies. I was proud of myself and mostly stuck with what I had in my stash and only bought 6 pieces of 12 X 12 paper. Inbelievable, given my paper addiction.

Wife Cards

I wasn't sure what to give our male friends and family this year until I came up with this gem of an idea. I made a set of "Wife Cards", cards for them to give their better half through out the year. I put them in a gift bag and on the outside have written: "Wife Cards - If you want a guarantee for hugs and kisses, just give these cards to your Mrs." So far they have gone over really well.

Carrie's B-Day Apron

I've been collecting apron patterns because they are all so cute and are fairly easy to make. This is one I made for my sister, Carrie. Annabelle is modeling it for me. I used Simplicity 3752. It was a lot of fun picking out the girly fabric and sewing it for my sister and she liked it as well.
